At Advanced Web, it’s not just about maintaining the environment. It’s also about economic, financial and social responsibility. They all go hand-in-hand, playing an integral role in how we run our business, make decisions, and live our lives.

Sustainability isn't just a passing fad. It's a real movement for change, both in how we do and look at things. We're committed to helping create a sustainable world through such initiatives as corn-based recyclable materials, recycling our liner waste, reusing boxes and cores, and looking into alternative energy ideas.

Advanced Web's passion for creating an environmentally-conscious business has earned us "Great Printer" status by the Printing Industry of Minnesota, for meeting and exceeding their environmental audit points. But we're not stopping there. Our commitment to reduce our impact on the environment continues to grow daily.

We achieve sustainability through:

  1. PLA (polylactic acid) corn-based films
  2. Post-consumer recyclable films
  3. Digital plate-making, eliminating the need for films/negatives
  4. Recycling poly films used in manufacturing process or from raw materials
  5. Reusing boxes and plastic cores
  6. Recycling liners/printing waste through Channeled Resources Group
  7. Water-based inks, avoiding toxic chemicals
  8. Alternate work schedules to reduce energy use during peak periods
  9. Lean manufacturing, creating efficiencies and reducing waste in the manufacturing process.
